August 3rd, 2008 I spent today burning through Gears of War on insane difficulty with my brother, which was quite an fun way to breach the 10000 point barrier. Regarding Gears of War itself, there are only two observations I have- firstly the cooperative AI is too daft to play the game on insane difficulty solo, and secondly [...] June 29th, 2008 I just killed my last Templar – quite stylishly I might add by countering his attack and sticking my hidden blade through his neck – netting me 40 gamerpoints bringing me to the full 1000. I got Assassin’s Creed back when it was released in November 2007 and looking at my achievement history I [...] January 14th, 2007 Pfft. Not even an end movie. You jump a bridge and get a message telling you that you're number one. Happy day. January 14th, 2007 I finally beat the last racer to get the final 350 gamerpoints. There's a police chase afterwards before I'm 'treated' to the end movie, and the 50 different challenges to complete, but I really can't be bothered. The game seems quite promising, the police chases are fun but the races are controller throwing-ly frustrating. [...] January 12th, 2007 Just hit 4000 gamerpoints thanks to Lost Planet. I hit it exactly on the 4000 mark by managing to take out a worm, a mile-long boss. Netted me 50gp. Shame that as soon as it went down another one came up- queue me running like a girl. January 2nd, 2007 I just completed the England level time trial unlocking the full 1000 points and found all the hidden artefacts finally unlocking all of the concept art and models (which is pretty cool), the cheats (which is pretty pointless), and all of the outfits. The outfits serve no purpose, though some are very well done. [...] |
